Keep track of where your new hire is in the onboarding process

2 min read

Hover Worknice helps you keep track of one or many new hires with some powerful reporting options integrated into the product. As an HR practitioner you have a lot of balls in the air at once. You’re onboarding new staff, managing leave requests and time off, processing changes to employment records. The absolute last thing you need on your plate is having to backtrack and spend time chasing up whether that new hire has seen the email with their contract.

How to find the progress indicator

This is located within a person's profile. Click on People on the main menu, and then search or find for the new hire you wish to review. Click View to access their profile, and the progress will be located under the overview tab in a card called 'onboarding'.

Filtering onboarding hires in the people directory

Some businesses are hiring many new people on a weekly basis, and will find it useful to filter the People Directory based around where a new hire is in the onboarding process. You can do this by using the filters at the top of the People Directory. You can filter all status' of a persons lifecycle in Worknice.

Tracking the progress of many new hires using the overview report

What is the overview report?

The overview reports shows everything that has been requested or actioned in the software, all on a single page.

Using the overview report

The overview report is accessed by clicking the Overview menu item on the main menu. Change the 'grouping' filter to Group by Person.

You can now review each person and their progress in the onboarding process.

When every item is marked as 'submitted', the user has completed all their onboarding items. You can at any point after submission review the data input and Mark as Processed to confirm the validity of what has been submitted. Once processed the item will grey out, indicating 100% completion.

To check the status of each item, hover over the icon with your mouse. To review the meaning of status', go here.

You're all done!
