Review calibration
Review and adjust submitted reviews before closing a review cycle.
Introduction
Calibration helps Account Owners review submitted performance reviews before they are finalised and delivered to the reviewee.
In Worknice, calibration gives Account Owners a chance to check completed Self Reviews and Manager Reviews, compare responses, and ensure review outcomes are consistent across the organisation before closing the cycle.
Before You Get Started
You must be an Account Owner to calibrate performance reviews.
Reviews should be submitted before they can be calibrated.
Getting Started
Go to Performance from the left-hand menu.
Open the relevant Review Cycle.
Find the submitted reviews you want to calibrate.
Make changes to response's - typically 5 point likert or 9-box matrix potential and performance questions.
Calibrating a Review
During calibration, Account Owners can review the submitted reviews, including:
Self Review responses
Manager Review responses
Ratings or Likert scale answers
Written feedback
Performance and potential responses
Any final review outcomes
Use this step to confirm the review is complete, consistent, and ready to be shared with the reviewee.
Closing the Cycle and Delivering the Packet
Once calibration is complete, the Account Owner can close the review cycle and deliver the final packet to the included reviewees.
After delivery, the reviewee will be able to access their completed review packet in Worknice.
Why Calibration Matters
Calibration helps organisations:
Ensure review outcomes are fair and consistent
Compare self and manager feedback before finalisation
Identify outliers or inconsistencies
Support better performance conversations
Improve confidence in the review process
You’re All Done!
You can now calibrate submitted reviews before closing the cycle and sharing final review packets with reviewees.
