Updating Custom Field Data

Update custom field values (e.g. cost centre, region, allowance) directly from a person’s profile.


Before You Get Started

You’ll need the right permissions to edit a person’s profile (Account Owner access).


Getting Started

Custom fields are edited from the person’s Settings tab, inside the Custom fields card.


Update Custom Fields

  1. Go to People from the left-hand menu.

  2. Search for the person and click View to open their profile.

  3. Click the Settings tab.

  4. Scroll to the Custom fields card.

  5. Click Edit.

  6. Update the field values as required.

  7. Click Save.


Custom Field Types You Might See

Depending on how your organisation configured custom fields, you may be updating:

  • Text (free text)

  • Date (calendar date picker)

  • Choice (select from a list of options)

  • Number (including formats like % or $, if configured)


You're All Done!

Your updates will now appear in the Custom fields card on the person’s profile.
