Diversity Insights
Shows who makes up your workforce and how that mix is changing over time. Helps you track representation, spot gaps, and focus diversity efforts where they matter most.
Getting Started
Go to the Admin section from the left hand menu.
Click on Insights
Click the Diversity tab
You must be an Account owner to access insights.
Employee gender balance
Shows the ratio of male to female employees on the last day of the selected period. Helps you monitor overall gender representation.
How it’s calculated: Male employees ÷ Female employees, using people active on the last day. Non‑binary and Not stated are shown elsewhere but excluded from the ratio.
Manager gender balance
Shows the ratio of male to female managers on the last day of the selected period. Highlights representation in leadership.
How it’s calculated: Male managers ÷ Female managers, based on people managing at least one direct report and active on the last day.
Average age
Shows the average age of people active on the last day of the selected period. Gives a quick read on workforce seniority.
How it’s calculated: Age in whole years for each active person as of the last day, averaged.
Gender turnover ratio
Shows the female‑to‑male turnover ratio for the selected period. Flags whether turnover is higher for women or men.
How it’s calculated: Female turnover % ÷ Male turnover %, where turnover % = leavers in the period ÷ headcount at the start of the period, calculated separately by gender.
Gender
Shows the current gender breakdown (Male, Female, Non‑binary, Not stated) with counts and percentages. Helps you see representation at a glance.
How it’s calculated: For people active on the last day, counts per gender and percentage = count ÷ total active.
Gender composition over time
Shows how the number of Male, Female, Non‑binary, and Not stated employees changes across the period. Helps you see whether representation is shifting.
How it’s calculated: For each sampled point, the count of active people by gender.
Pronouns
Shows a breakdown of recorded pronouns. Supports inclusive practices and communication.
How it’s calculated: Counts per pronoun for people active on the last day.
Age
Shows a distribution of ages with the organisation average for context. Helps with workforce planning and early career programs.
How it’s calculated: Age in whole years for people active on the last day, grouped into age bands; organisation average shown alongside.
Workforce composition by location and gender
Shows, for each location, the percentage and count of Male, Female, Non‑binary, and Not stated. Helps compare representation across locations.
How it’s calculated: For people active on the last day at each location, percentage per gender = count ÷ location total; counts displayed alongside.
Workforce composition by location and age
Shows the average age per location, with people counts. Helps identify sites with younger or older teams.
How it’s calculated: Average of whole‑year ages for people active on the last day at each location.
