Salary growth rate
Shows the percentage change in salary across the selected period. Gives a quick view of whether pay levels are rising or falling overall.
How it’s calculated: ((Salary at end of period − Salary at start) ÷ Salary at start) × 100, using the organisation’s selected salary type (Median or Average) on each day.
Median/Average salary
Shows the typical salary at the end of the selected period. Useful for benchmarking and tracking progress against targets.
How it’s calculated: The central salary (Median or Average, based on your selector) for active salaried roles on the last day of the period.
Min salary
Shows the lowest salary at the end of the selected period. Helps identify outliers and ensure minimums meet policy.
How it’s calculated: Minimum of salaries for active salaried roles on the last day of the period.
Max salary
Shows the highest salary at the end of the selected period. Helps detect extremes and inform compensation bands.
How it’s calculated: Maximum of salaries for active salaried roles on the last day of the period.
Median/Average salary over time
Shows how the organisation’s salary level changes across the period. Helps you connect pay movement to events like reviews or market adjustments.
How it’s calculated: For each sampled point, calculates the central salary (Median or Average) for active salaried roles.
Employment basis
Shows the mix of employment types (e.g., full‑time, part‑time, casual) with counts and percentages. Helps understand workforce structure and cost dynamics.
How it’s calculated: For people active on the last day, counts per employment basis and percentage = count ÷ total active.
Salary bands by position
Shows min, median/average, and max salary for each position, plus people counts. Helps benchmark roles and check pay band consistency.
How it’s calculated: For each position with at least two people, computes min, central (Median or Average), and max salary for active salaried roles on the last day of the period.
