Why is the 'Verify' feature so powerful?
The ability to Verify a certificate allows you to guarantee important documents have been checked and passed as acceptable. For example, if you hire a forklift driver, you need to be certain they hold a valid forklift driving licence. Using the certificate feature means you can collect that licence, and manually verify it is valid before the employee starts work.
Better yet, what if this licence expires? No problem! Worknice handles the management of that expiry date, and allows you to remind the person to obtain and submit that new licence so there is 100% compliance, all the time.
Getting Started
As an admin, you have the opportunity to verify or reject a certificate once it has been submitted by a user.
The status of the certificate at this stage will be 'submitted'.
In order to view the information submitted, you can find your certificate using 2 different options;
- From the person profile: Go to the People directory by clicking people via the main left menu, and then search for the particular person. Then select Certificates. From here, find the submitted certificate you wish to view, and click the edit button associated with it.
- From the certificate directory: Go to the Certificates directory by clicking Certificates via the main left menu, and then search for the particular certificate. From here, find the submitted certificate you wish to view, and click the edit button associated with it.
Verify or reject a certificate
In order to verify or reject a certificate, click the edit button associated to the certificate in question. This will pop up the details entered by the person.
Once you have reviewed the certificate, you can Mark as Processed or Re-assign the certificate.
What happens next?
If you verified the certificate: The status of the certificate turns to 'Processed'. It is now active in Worknice.
If you rejected the certificate: The status of the certificate remains at submitted, but is now awaiting updates from the person. Once updated, the admin can now review the certificate for verification again.
You're all done!
