How to Install the Automated VEVO Check App to the core Worknice platform

Connecting a new app in Worknice is a simple task that will only take a couple of minutes.

On the left hand admin menu, select Apps and then App directory.

Browse our marketplace of Direct integrations and apps.

Select an app by clicking View Details and then Create Integration.

Click the Connect button

You are now being directed to the app being integrated. Follow the prompts.

You must have appropriate level of permissions in the integrated app in order to Authenticate the integration

Accessing VISA Checking Service

Worknice calls the vsure API to check VEVO status. You must have a subscription with vsure in order to use the Worknice automated VEVO check app. By arranging your own subscription ensures value for customers, as Worknice does not resell their service at an inflated rate.

If you do not wish to pay for automated checks, Worknice handles work rights management out of the box, where admins are linked directly to a Government VEVO checking service that is free to use. This solution is suitable for lower volume customers.

Using the Automated VEVO Check App

Input your API credentials supplied by vSure

1 - Client ID

2 - Client Secret

Map your VEVO check template in the Worknice Core App

Select the certificate template that is used in Worknice for collecting Work Rights certificates. Only people assigned this certificate will appear in this app for VEVO checking.

1 - In the VEVO Check App, select the Open app button

2 - Click on the Settings tab

3 - Pick the template you wish to map.

Begin VEVO checks

In their online portal, your employees will be suppling work visas during the onboarding process or as they have visas expiring. When they submit this document (as mapped in the previous step) you will be able to request a check.

2 - Click on the People tab

3 - Filter to Submitted in Paperwork Status

4 - Click Create check

5 - Worknice auto populates information it has in the core app, such as visa document, visa number, and person information. Fill in any missing information

6 - Pick a check mode;

fast check - 2-20 seconds - higher cost

off-peak - 9pm - 6am AEST - lower cost

7 - Add the document type and nationality.

A VEVO check will be created to verify Australian work rights. After submitting, you can view the results on the Checks page once they become available. Turnaround times may vary depending on the type of check requested, as fast as 20 seconds.

After submitting, you can view the results on the Checks page once they become available.

You can check status and download the verification if required.
