Adding a new employee to payroll via integration

Here we describe how to add a new hire that has a Worknice account into your payroll account via the Worknice integration.

Step by step guide

1) Prepare your new hire for sync into payroll

Click the people menu on the main left menu, select the person you wish to sync, select settings and then find the Integration Connections card. Click  'Connect' next to the available integrations.

2) Manually run a payroll sync (optional)

If you do not want to wait for the next automated sync (happens every 24 hours) then browse to Integrations > [Your Payroll Integration] and click the Sync button.

Please note an integration automatically syncs every 24 hours, but in cases you want a sync to happen immediately, run a manual sync.

3) Finalise the new hire in payroll

Please note in order to prepare your new hire for the next pay run, there are usually still some steps required to complete in your payroll system.
