Worknice helps you collect, manage and analyse important compliance documentation for your business. But every business is different, and every employee or contractor is different. That's why Worknice lets you create and request all the certificates you need with complete flexibility.
Getting started
To request a new certificate, navigate to the People section and then search for the person you wish to request a Certificate from.
Request the certificate
Click on the Paperwork tab, and then click the Add Paperwork button. As we are adding a new certificate, click the Add button under the certificate option.
Once clicked, you will be able to select one of two options:
- Create from template: Check this box, and then click in the Certificate Template selection box to reveal your list of Certificate Templates. Choose the one you wish to request.
- Create new certificate: If you can't find the required certificate in the list, then you will need to create a new one. Selection this check box will automatically reveal the certificate template creation wizard. For tips on creating a new Certificate Template, visit this article.
Complete this process by clicking the Request Certificate button.
What happens now?
This certificate has now been requested. You will noticed a 'requested' status badge next to the certificate.
Next steps for the user
You have requested a person to provide certificate information. This is now sitting in the persons inbox awaiting submission.
Once the person completes the submission, status badge changes to 'submitted'. At this moment, the admin user is notified.
