Non-template paperwork

Most paperwork in Worknice is generated by Worknice from templates. However, you may sometimes need to upload pre-created paperwork such as an adhoc signed contract or letter directly to a person’s profile.


Getting started

You can upload existing paperwork from two places:

  • Paperwork section – via the left-hand navigation.

  • Person’s profile – open the profile from the People Directory and go to the Paperwork tab.


Uploading and assigning paperwork

  1. Click Add assignment and select the relevant format.

    do not select Create from templates / bundles

  2. Enter a name for the paperwork

  3. Upload the file you want to attach

  4. Click Add to Assign it to the person.


Important Notes

  • If you select Assign Immediately, the person will be notified and will have access to view and download the paperwork.

  • If you acknowledge the paperwork on the employees behalf (they may not need to do this) they will not need to do this - nor will they receive a notificaiton.

  • Draft employees do not receive notifications.


You're All Done!

Your paperwork has now been uploaded to the person’s profile and stored securely in Worknice.
