This helps you quickly identify:

  • Who has completed their reviews

  • Where follow-up may be required

Track the completion of your review cycle by

1 - Review type:

  • Self Reviews

  • Manager Reviews

2. Location

9 Box Talent Matrix

9 box is driven by a manager's response to the potential and performance question.

The 9 Box Matrix visualises employee performance against potential.

To enable this:

  • Include Performance and Potential questions in your manager template

  • Ensure these questions are answered by the manager during the review

The matrix then categorises employees into segments such as:

  • High potential

  • Solid performer

  • Risk

  • Star

This helps with talent planning and succession decisions.

Performance Overview

The Performance Overview chart shows the distribution of performance ratings across your organisation.

This relies on:

  • A configured Performance question

  • Responses provided during reviews

You can quickly see how many employees:

  • Are below expectations

  • Meet expectations

  • Exceed expectations

Responses Heat map

The Responses Heat map shows aggregated responses across review questions.

  • Works with any Likert scale question

  • Displays average scores and response counts

  • Compares Self vs Manager responses

We recommend using Likert scale questions wherever possible to maximise insight value.

This helps you:

  • Identify trends in feedback

  • Spot alignment (or gaps) between employees and managers

  • Highlight areas needing attention

Key Considerations

  • Insights are only available after reviews have responses

  • The quality of insights depends on how your templates are configured

  • Use structured question types (like Likert scales) for better reporting

  • Performance and Potential questions must be set before launching the cycle
