Editing positions
Update position details such as manager, position name, or position code.
Before You Get Started
You must be an Account owner to edit positions.
Edits are immediately reflected in your org chart, job records and employee profiles
What Can Be Edited?
Position Name – Update the title of the position (e.g. change “Sales Executive” to “Account Executive”).
Position Code – Change or update the unique identifier for the position.
Manager – Reassign who this position reports to by selecting a different manager’s position.
How to Edit a Position
Navigate to the Positions directory in the left-hand menu.
Search for and open the position you want to edit.
Click the actions button (three vertical dots) to open available actions.
Select Edit from the action menu.
Make the changes you need:
Update the Position Name.
Update or replace the Position Code.
Change the Manager Position.
Click Save to confirm your changes.
What Happens When You Edit a Position?
Updates are instantly reflected in the org chart.
People currently holding the job linked to this position remain assigned — their history is not lost.
If you change the manager, reporting lines for all related jobs update automatically.
