Integration FAQ
What criteria/rules are used for matching to existing records?
Worknice will automatically match a person from an integration to a person in Worknice by scanning record data points for matches. These data points are; employeeCode, personalEmail and profileEmail
Do integrations auto-sync?
Integrations auto-sync every 24 hours, typically during the period of midnight to 3am Sydney time.
Integrations can also be manually synced as many times as required.
Can additional fields be specified to map?
Worknice 1-way and 2-way integrations are out of the box and don’t offer custom field mapping
Data isn't syncing from an integration into Worknice
If data isn't syncing back to Worknice, try one of the following;
run a manual sync
ensure the person is connected to the integration
ensure the data type is supported/included in the integration
Is an integration syncing in data?
Open the Imports log located in Settings and confirm that updates from the integration are appearing whenever changes are made.
Go to the Integration itself and verify that people connections are mapped correctly — the Remote record represents the person in the integrated application, and the Worknice person represents the corresponding record in Worknice.
Review the Logs in the integration to ensure there are no errors.
A person isn't syncing to an external app
Here are the step to take to check what happened;
1 - is the sync operating successfully?
2 - is there an error related to the person in the logs. Search their name or their person ID in the logs using the browser find function.
3 - Are they connected to the integration?
