Multiple organisations
Worknice allows you to create and manage multiple organisations within a single account. This is useful if your business operates across different entities, regions, or divisions but you want to keep data clearly separated.
How organisations work
Each organisation is fully distinct. This means that the following data is organisation-specific:
People
Positions
Paperwork
Reviews
Insights
This separation helps maintain clear records, reduce clutter, and ensure compliance across different business units.
If you want your different entities to be visible to each other, do not create multiple organisations. You can still operate multi-entity payroll accounts in a single Worknice account.
Creating a new organisation
To create a new organisation:
Go to Settings and General settings
Click Add organisation
Switching between organisations
If you have access to multiple organisations, you can switch between them directly from your user settings.
Click your profile name or picture in the top-right menu.
Select the organisation you’d like to switch to under Memberships.
Users can have different roles and permissions in each organisation.
Typical use cases
Multi-entity businesses – Keep each legal entity’s people and compliance data separate.
Franchises – Manage multiple franchise locations in a single account.
Divisions or regions – Separate people and processes by business unit or geography.
Important notes
Data is not shared across organisations. For example, someone added as an employee in Organisation A will not automatically appear in Organisation B.
Admins must explicitly invite or assign people to each organisation they should have access to.
