People tags

Tags in Worknice help you filter and segment your people directory. They’re flexible, easy to use, and make it simple to group employees by any criteria you choose.


Before you get started

Only Account Owners can create, add and view people tags.


Why use tags?

People tags make it easy to organise and quickly find groups of employees. For example:

  • Identify fire wardens in your business

  • Group first aid officers

  • Segment by training completed

  • Flag mentors or casual staff

✨ Benefits of tags:

  • Tag people with anything you want

  • Assign multiple tags to one person

  • Bulk add or remove tags

  • Filter the People Directory by tag


Creating a tag

  1. Go to Admin settings in the left-hand menu.

  2. Select People tags.

  3. Click Add tag and give it a name.

You can also create Tags on the fly as you are in the process of adding or removing tags


Managing tags on people

You can add or remove tags in two places.

Using the People directory

  1. Go to the People section in the left-hand menu.

  2. Use the checkboxes to select one or more people.

  3. Click the floating action menu at the bottom of your screen.

  4. Add or remove tags as needed.

Using a Person profile

  1. Go to the People section in the left-hand menu.

  2. Select a person to enter their person profile.

  3. From the Overview tab, find Tags.

  4. Add or remove tags as needed.


You're all done!

Tags are now active and ready to help you filter your People Directory.
