Public profile
Public profiles in Worknice display key information about a user/yourself to other members of your organisation. They make it easier to know who you’re working with, understand their role, and connect with them quickly.
Public profiles are especially useful in larger teams or cross-functional projects, helping everyone put a face to a name and stay on the same page. For new hires, they’re a simple way to get to know colleagues and the organisation faster.
What information does a public profile include?
A public profile may include the following details (depending on what the user chooses to share):
Display name – the name someone is known by at work
Position – their role in the organisation
Work contact information – email address and phone number
Location – work location
Photo – profile picture for easier recognition
Pronouns – optionally provided pronouns
Birthday – day and month (not year), if shared
Bio – a short summary of what you do in the business
