Assign paperwork
Paperwork in Worknice can be assigned directly to individuals or groups of employees. You can assign a single template (form, document, or certificate) or an entire bundle all in just a few clicks.
Getting Started
Only Account owners can assign paperwork to people.
Methods of assigning paperwork
You can assign paperwork in three ways:
From the Paperwork overview pages
Go to the Paperwork section in the left-hand menu.
Select the relevant overview page (e.g., Expired, Expiring soon, Missing or Draft).
Click Assign paperwork against the paperwork records shown.
From the All paperwork page
Go to the All Paperwork page from the Admin menu.
Click Assign paperwork.
Choose either a type of paperwork or a bundle.
Select the owner (the person responsible for completing it).
Confirm your choice to assign immediately or save as draft.
Click Assign.
The All Paperwork page is especially useful when assigning multiple items across the organisation in bulk.
From a person’s profile
Go to the People directory and search for the person.
Open their profile and go to the Paperwork tab.
Click Assign paperwork.
Choose either a paperwork type or a bundle.
Confirm whether to assign immediately or save as draft.
Click Assign.
From the paperwork type record
Go to Settings > Paperwork types & templates.
Find the Paperwork tab and click.
Find the person you want to assign the paperwork too
Click Assign paperwork from the action button against the person name.
This method is useful when you want to assign a specific template quickly without navigating through broader paperwork pages.
You're all done!
